Description
The wheel cylinder in your 1949 or 1950 Styline or Fleetline Chevy is an important component of the drum brake system, located in each wheel of your car. Wheel cylinders are responsible for exerting force to stop your car with friction. With age, the drum brake system encounters problems such as leakage in the rods that connect the wheel cylinders to the brake shoes, which hinders brake performance.
