      This Chevy 500 series steering box is the best way to upgrade your classic to modern steering if you wish to stay with a steering box. You won't believe how well your classic Chevy drives once you install this 500 series power steering box. If you car is currently equipped with the old 605 box, the 500 series box is a direct bolt-on replacement. This is a 100% brand new box made just for your classic Chevy; nothing is rebuilt or used. This 500 series power steering box can be used with the original steering column mast or an Ididit tilt column. When using the original steering column or an Ididit column, shaft and coupler will also be needed. All of the original standard steering linkage is maintained while the stock steering box is removed and no longer used. Any
