Strut Rod Bushing Kit/ Bushings Only

If your Thunderbird seems to be all over the road you may need to replace your strut rod bushings. It is very common for them to break down over time and many owners get used to play in the steering. Ford didn't engineer Thunderbirds to be that way, and the fix may be simple. This kit includes the common wear items for both sides. It's a good idea to do both sides at the same time but we do offer a kit for just one side. See our alternate listing which has half the pieces. While changing these isn't that difficult, you will probably want to find an alignment shop to check the other components, and get everything set properly. Your front tires will wear better, and you will experience the steering precision the Ford engineers intend
