Gold Paint,Valve Cover/Air Cleaner,Thunderbird,1963-64

Unlike what some of our competitors offer, this is the correct shade of gold as originally used on 1963 and 1964 Thunderbird valve covers and air cleaners. The product you receive may indicate on the can that it is for vinyl, leather, and hard plastics but it works fine on metal under your hood. Always clean any surface well before painting, ensuring all dirt, grease, and silicone-based products are removed. Feather-edge any chips and scratches, and lightly prime. Lay down several light coats of paint allowing the surface to become tacky in between coats. Your last coat should be applied slightly heavier for a good gloss but not so heavy that the paint runs. After you run your engine, you will have that 'baked on finish!'
