      Description

      This kit converts your factory-installed console shifter for use with a newer 4-speed TH700-R4, TH200-4R or 4L60 transmission. The kit eliminates the rod linkage and replaces it with a 68-72 style shift cable P/N 186177 (sold separately). The conversion includes a new laser cut and hardened detent for proper stops and gear selection, a new cable mount bracket which bolts to the shifter base, a cable pin to connect the cable to the shifter handle, all necessary hardware, and instructions
