      Stock Design Hood Replacement. The OPR Hood Big Block/LT1 Stock Design is designed to replace your worn, damaged, or rusty hood panel with a high-quality reproduction. It faithfully replicates the original Big Block and LT-1 Corvette Stingray hood, offering a clean, factory look perfect for restoration or repair projects.

      Construction and Appearance. This hood is crafted from premium fiberglass with top-grade resins, featuring a 3-layered 3.5 oz mat and a 21 mils soft sanding gel coat. The construction uses heavily reinforced molds, cured for 24 hours, and incorporates machined steel plates riveted to the inner hood reinforcement for durability. The hand-rolled process ensures a bubble- and wave-free finish.

      Installation. The OPR Hood offers a direct bolt-on installation, utilizing the original hinges and support from your Corvette. While no drilling or major modifications are needed, fitting, trimming, shimming, and special finishing are required to ensure a perfect fit.
