The El Camino Store offers this correct Air Distribution Lever, Air Conditioning Door Control for your project. Located on the heater core box inside the car, behind the glove box, this lever controls the opening of the distribution door, also known as the distribution valve, by the pulling of a cable. If broken, hot air may not distribute through the proper vents when selected at the dash.
