The VaporWorx Intelligent Relay Control (IRC) will provide convenience and safety features that will help protect you and your pride and joy. This system is easily adapted to both new and existing builds by controlling the negative trigger side of a standard automotive relay._x005F_x000D_

_x005F_x000D_Electric fuel pumps, especially those used in carbureted engines, are usually powered by a relay that is turned on by the ignition switch. That means for as long as the IGN is on, so is the fuel pump._x005F_x000D_

_x005F_x000D_But what if the key needs to be in IGN but with the engine not running?_x005F_x000D_

_x005F_x000D_What happens in case of an accident, the fuel line is ruptured, and IGN is still on?_x005F_x000D_

_x005F_x000D_Most modern ECM’s have priming and system shutdown strategies to deal with these conditions. When using IGN only to trigger the relay on, fuel may be pumped uncontrolled. This can be both inconvenient and dangerous._x005F_x000D_

_x005F_x000D_The VaporWorx IRC uses the engine tachometer signal to sense when to operate.
