Update the look of your 1978-1979 Ford Bronco 4WD truck by raising it to new heights with a 6-inch suspension lift kit by BDS. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35" tires.
Up front the lift kit includes Pro-Ride coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, track bar relocation bracket for steering correction, bump stop brackets and precision tuned NX2 nitrogen charged shocks.
In the rear the base kit utilizes a high-strength lift block, longer u-bolts and a matching set of NX2 Nitro shocks.

A pair of full-length, truck-specific, Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Front Shock Option
The 78-79 Bronco's came with 3 different shock configurations. The first type is the standard shock mounted behind the axle. Second, has staggered single front shocks with the drivers side shock mounted in front of the axle and the passenger side shock mounted behind the axle. The third type uses dual front shocks. Check your vehicle to make the appropriate selection.
Rear Lift Option
Block Kit with Add-A-Leaf
Add-a-leaf helps freshen up old worn-out factory leaf springs.
Blocks are made from cast iron for max strength.
Includes new center pins.
Leaf Springs
Eliminates any need for a lift block.
Reduces axle wrap and creates a more controlled and stable feel.
