      This quality replacement air conditioning accumulator has been manufactured to meet or exceed factory specifications and performance for your 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 Camaro. The accumulator contains a desiccant, which absorbs any moisture in the refrigerant. If the system is open to the atmosphere more than a short period of time, the desiccant can become "full" of moisture, which can lead to corrosion.
