      Description

      Rick's Camaros offers this accurate reproduction of the upper hood safety latch which bolts to the bottom of the Camaro hood. When the hood closes, the pilot bolt is caught by the hood opening mechanism and the hook on the mechanism catches the safety latch just in case the hood opening mechanism fails on your Camaro. Replace that ugly, rusted original with this EDP coated reproduction hood latch from Rick's today. This hood latch assembly comes from new proprietary tooling from 2009, includes the lock plate, pilot bolt, spring, retainer, and jamb nut, and comes properly preassembled for an easy installation.
