A new Chevy alternator bracket is sometimes required when restoring your 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, or 1954 classic Chevy. Car alternators are attached to the engine with three bolts. Two of these are fixed bolts to keep it in place, and the other attaches through the alternator bracket. This adjustable bracket is designed to allow you to change the tension of your alternator belt. Before you embark on your alternator restoration, invest in a new alternator bracket kit. Available at Eckler’s Early Chevy today!
