      Eckler's Classic Chevy is happy to offer new electronic conversion kits for your 1957 classic. There’s absolutely no need to contend with the technology of the 60’s and before, when you can bolt-in today’s electronic timing benefits in the form of the Ignitor III from Pertronix! This V8 solid-state system features an adaptive dwell that maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance. The whole conversion even remains under the stock cap, so for restorers, the car appears as dead stock. Technically speaking, this ignition has rotating cobalt magnets which trigger an electronic switching module commonly referred to as a “Hall” effect integrated circuit.
