Description

In-Cab Gas Tank Replacement. The in-cab gas tank with filler neck is a vital component designed to safely store fuel within classic Chevy GMC C/K pickups.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from rust-resistant stamped steel, the tank is treated with lead and tin plating on both the internal and external surfaces to prevent corrosion. It is coated with an EDP finish for additional rust and corrosion resistance, and it faithfully reproduces the original tank’s contours, hole placements, and structural ribs for an authentic restoration look.

Installation. Installation requires mechanical skill and proper tools but typically does not involve drilling. The tank is designed to fit within the factory mounting locations, minimizing any need for modification.
