This item is an exact reproduction of the 1969-72 El Camino disc brake hose bracket. All El Camino's had the bracket, but because of the different hose for disc and drum, the hose bracket also changed. The disc brake bracket is a fold over double thickness, where the drum bracket is single thickness. This simply means that disc hoses will not work with the drum bracket. When converting these cars to disc brakes, the bracket must be changed out so the hose will fit and the flex hose clip will secure the hose. The brackets are a must for a correct disc brake conversion or concourse restoration. This item is an exact reproduction featuring the correct gauge, silver zinc plating and the part number stamped in the back side. The reproduction has no tool stamping marks and the edges of the part
