      After repeated use, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 Firebird convertible top latches can show signs of fatigue. Stress on the latch can lead to warping and ultimately failure. Eckler's Firebird offers a reproduction convertible top rear latch to take the worry out of letting your top down. This reproduction top latch secures the rear of the convertible top underneath the tonneau. The stamped steel latch was designed in the original three piece style including latch plates and cotter pin. Don't let a malfunctioning convertible top rear latch keep you from enjoying your time in the sun.
