Ram Air crossover pipe covers help dissipate heat from your 1969, 1970, 1971 or 1972 Firebird intake crossover pipe. The Pontiac 400ci and 455ci were powerhouse engines. The combination of cubic inches, aluminum intake and cast iron tubes generate a lot of heat. Eckler's FIrebird now offers crossover pipe covers for your Ram Air or HO equipped Pontiac. This two piece steel heat shield surrounds the crossover pipe and directs heat to the air cleaner assembly for maximum horsepower. Don't let missing crossover pipe covers keep your 1969, 1970 or 1971 Firebird from its peak performance. Replace your missing or damaged original heat shields with reproductions from Eckler's Firebird.
