      Description

Flaming River announces the introduction of an all-new stainless steel tilt steering column designed specifically for the classic 1955 to 1957 Ford Thunderbird with OE 3 spoke wheel.

It is designed to accept the factory steering wheel (not included) and provides a smooth, eye-appealing integration of the stock wheel into the column. The column features an all-new wiring harness and includes self-cancelling turn signals and a hazard-warning switch.

Available as a floor shift design only, the sleek, all new manufactured columns use Flaming River’s exclusive True Torque™ tilt shaft design for smoother operation and longer life. The columns feature 304 Grade stainless steel housings in two finish levels – show grade polished or paintable mill finish – and have a 2” tube diameter. The column comes with a custom coupler designed to fit directly to the original steering box.

The 55-57 Thunderbird columns can be equipped with either the optional built-in turn signal arm mounted dimmer switch or cruise control unit.
