Description
No matter how much work is put into your 1948-1953 Ford Pickup, if your engine won't start it doesn't mean much. These starters, brought to you by Mac's Auto Parts, fit all manner of 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1953, or 1953 Ford Pickup. No more broken springs. 1932-1953 engines were equipped with a starter support bracket (51A-11140). This bracket is usually missing, but it is highly recommended that it be used to support the starter on the oil pan.If you encounter this problem, we recommend that you replace the modern drive with an original style starter drive.
