Description
Over the years, these 1969, 1970 Impala, Biscayne, Caprice radiator core support bushing fatigued from gravity and environmental pressures bringing back those annoying squeaks and noise so common in the past. Before 1965, B-Body full size Chevy used paper shims from the factory to isolate the core support from the frame. These Chevy paper shims, which were the standard till this time, typically wore out quickly leading to squeaks and noise from vibrations. In 1965, rubber core support bushings were introduced as the standard method to cure this common problem.
