Trunk Release:

INCLUDED: In addition to the parts listed above, you will also receive: One Power trunk latch, wire and wire loom, full color step by step instruction manual, trimming template, and all necessary hardware.Our Power Trunk Latch option allows you to be able to open the trunk by using the alarm remote but also retains the factory lock cylinder and key operation. This kit comes with everything needed to replace your factory manual trunk latch with our upgraded power latch and hook it up to your new alarm system. Please note that some vehicles do require the installer to trim some metal to enlarge the opening for the new power latch. This trimming does not affect the mounting of the original latch should you decide to reinstall it in the future. In addition to the tools shown above, you may need a die grinder and metal burr to enlarge the hole for installation.
