      While the original tail lights on '40 Fords look great, they aren't very visible. Due to their size and angle on installation there is only so much that can be done to improve that. Now MAC's is pleased to offer these replacements which have an original look, but are very visible with 24 LEDs! If your '40 is anything but a top-flight judged trailered show car, these are a great upgrade. The increased visibility may give other drivers that critical time it takes to avoid hitting your pride and joy from behind. You won't even have to permanently alter your fenders. If you are still using a 6-volt system you may need a converter, as these lights expect 12 volts. These are sold individually, so order two if you need a pair.
      1940 Ford Flush Mount LED Tail Light

      • New chrome bezel and lens is exactly same size & shape as original.
      • Fits all 1940 Ford standard & deluxe passenger cars.
      • Mounts on surface of stock fender with 3 small studs, requires drilling 2 small holes behind the light.
      • If using new fenders, no need to cut the large original tail light hole.
      • Super bright LED complete with red polycarbonate lens.
      • Dual function with tail light & bright stop/turn signal.
      • Includes chrome bezel rubber pad and mounting studs.
      • LED compatible flasher required for proper operation, item #90652 or 90649.
