This simple process gently etches metal, creating an ideal anchor pattern for coatings such as those offered by POR-15®, while simultaneously leaving a zinc phosphate coating to ensure chemical bonding of paint and steel. Metal Prep features an easy to use, one-step process with no harmful residues. Is reuseable and removes surface rust in minutes. It then coats metal with the zinc phosphate which is what ensures perfect paint adhesion. This perfect base for all paints also gives better welding conductivity.
