Description
PRODUCT OVERVIEW If you are doing an engine and transmission swap or adding power to your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird (F-body), a tubular torque arm and transmission crossmember from QA1 can make your swap much easier. This design is specific to several transmission models and relocates the torque arm mount off the transmission tail housing for QA1 tunnel mounted torque arms and provides a sleek, tight fit under your 3rd Gen. RELOCATED TORQUE ARM MOUNT The factory torque arm, which mounts to the tail housing of the transmission, is widely considered the weak link. If you've increased the power level of your 3rd Gen, damaged transmission tail housings can be a common and costly issue. This torque arm and transmission crossmember is designed to work with QA1's tunnel mounted torque arm, providing a stronger and more reliable solution. DIRECT FIT WITH POPULAR TRANSMISSION SWAPS The QA1 transmission crossmember is designed for a direct fit with several popular transmissions, ensuring compatibility and ease of installation. Specifically fitting TH400 transmissions, this product provides a hassle-free upgrade for your 3rd Gen Camaro or Firebird. THOUGHTFUL DESIGN QA1's transmission crossmember installs seamlessly, maintaining optimal ground clearance and exhaust routing. EASY BOLT-IN INSTALLATION The QA1 transmission crossmember features a bolt-in design, making installation straightforward and hassle-free. This allows you to upgrade your vehicle quickly without the need for extensive modifications or special tools. MADE IN THE USA QA1 suspension is proudly made in Lakeville, Minnesota. FITMENT NOTES Only compatible with QA1 Tunnel Mounted Torque Arms Fits cars with TH400Transmissions
