Features, Description, Q&A
Sometimes aftermarket radiators have different size fittings than the originals, causing a correct hose to be a little too large. You could simply squeeze it down with a clamp but that's hard on the hose, and it doesn't grip as tightly as it is supposed to. These clever reducers fit inside of the hose and bridge the gap. They are especially important if you are using original-type clamps which aren't nearly as flexible as the worm-gear type. Make sure you get your clamp very snug though, as any additional connections increase the chances the hose could come loose in extreme conditions.
